I began working as a bus boy at 14, dishwasher at 16 and by 18, I was working as a line cook on grill and saute stations. I cooked, waited tables and eventually tended bar and slowly worked my way through college and then grad school. I taught American history for more than a dozen years--all the while cooking delicious treats for family and friends who often encouraged me to pursue a food truck! So, finally, in April 2024, with the support of my wonderful wife. Carla and our daughter, Ella, The Good Life Eats & Treats - Wild Sausages was born. Carla had her own long history in the restaurant industry before proving once again that she is the smarter half of our partnership by going to business school. Ella hopes that one day she can grow up and be a cat! We are thrilled that you have stopped by our little home on the internet and we all really hope you come see us in person. This business, it is called The Good Life, because that is our pursuit--to have a job that we LOVE to do and that people LOVE to support. After all, isn't that what The Good Life is all about?
